Affiliation: Marie Curie-Sklodowska University, Poland Title: Delocalisation of Majorana Bound States in 1D/2D hybrid structures. Abstract:Interplay between superconductivity, spin-orbit coupling and magnetic field can lead to realisation of the topologically non--trivial states. In finite 1D Rasha nanowires those states are manifested by emergence of a pair of zero-energy Majorana bound states. On the other hand, in 2D systems spin currents contributed by the edge states might appear. Creation of junction between those two systems opens new possibilities for probing the behaviour of Majorana Bound States. Therefore, we investigate properties of such bound states in multi-dimensional hybrid structures consisting of 1D Rashba nanowire and bounded 2D surfaces.
